Your donation provides accessible music education, instruments, youth programs and community arts experiences in rural Southwest Michigan.
We offer free or reduced-cost lessons for children and families.
We host concerts, workshops, bluegrass jams, open mics, and the WLF Folk Fest.
We provide stages, seating, accessibility, lighting and program areas.
We provide instruments, supplies, meals, instructors and scholarships.
We pay local educators and performers fairly.
We assist with insurance, permits, sound equipment, marketing and other operating expenses.
We purchase, repair and maintain instruments that students can use.
We provide art supplies, community murals, movement, theater and hands-on workshops.
Whole Life Farm Arts & Music Foundation is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization that cultivates community through music, art, land, and gathering. We exist to create accessible opportunities for people to experience live music, art, education, nature, and community in a holistic rural setting.
We work to support community-centered arts and music programming rooted in creativity, education, land stewardship and meaningful connection.
Whole Life Farm is developing future programming including intimate concerts, folk and roots music events, artist gatherings, workshops, community meals, youth and family arts activities, and land-based creative experiences.
We bring music education, youth programs, workshops and live arts experiences to rural Southwest Michigan—creating welcoming opportunities for children, families, artists and neighbors to learn, perform and connect.
Donations provide scholarships, instruments, supplies, and fair pay for teaching artists and musicians. Your support helps us offer free and affordable creative programs year after year.
This summer marked an exciting beginning for Whole Life Farm Arts & Music Foundation. We hosted our first Whole Life Farm Folk Fest and our first free Summer Music Camp—bringing children, families, musicians, artists, and neighbors together through music, creativity, and community. With a B.S. & M.A. in Music Education with a concentration in Voice, Katelynn first started the Whole Life Farm Music School in 2023, and launched the nonprofit in April of 2025.
