Krieglstein will introduce microphones, cables, signal flow, mixers, gain levels, speakers, and techniques for preventing feedback during live performances. Participants will also learn the basics of digital recording, including ProTools and other digital audio workstations. (DAWs), setting up tracks, recording audio, editing, and creating a basic mix. No previous audio-engineering experience is required–just bring your curiosity and interest in sound!
